I collect used English stamps and English First Day Covers, but I have to admit that my collection is a very modest one as I do not devote nearly enough time to dealing with it.

My first Day Cover collection goes back 20 years and I am always striving to go back further (money permitting)
They are kept in Royal Mail FDC Albums. I only have complete sets on the covers and they are all from the Philatelic Bureau.

My used collection is also housed in Royal Mail albums with all my spares (swaps) kept in whatever comes handy ranging from paper bags to proper stock books.

I have far more old English stamps than I want or need and would be very happy to hear from someone in another English speaking country who would maybe like to swap some of his for some of mine, (I rather fancy USA or Canada) and I really could supply a very good start to his collection.
