At one time I collected the 2 Gallon cans but I now have moved them on to a more active collector but I still retain an i nterest in them and, as this database seems to be important to many can collectors, I have decide to keep it in my Web-site. What I have done is drawn the cans as a GIF converted BMP file with a maximum of 80 cans in each drawing. The words are not to scale or to style but are indicative of the actual words which appear on the cans and, of course, the images are my interpretation of the actual images on the cans. I have relied very heavily on original drawings compiled by D Maidment and on material supplied by the National Motor Museum, Beaulieu.
